The Fey release new synthwave dance ballad entitled "Back Home To You"
“Back Home To You” personifies what The Fey do absolutely best. Their blend of indie rock and R&B is somehow futuristic yet retro at the same time, a nod to 70’s soul and 80’s LA-chic, while keeping the modern low-end and production on full display. - Vents Magazine
What began as a simple networking retreat to Los Angeles became the inspiration for The Fey’s debut album Palm Tree Shade. The synthwave dance ballad "Back Home To You" finds that every man yearns to run amongst the wild, yet every lone wolf pains to find his way home. Playing affairs as a savage beast tends to always lead to loneliness and despair. Slowly disconnecting you from the pack, you were created to form. But then it happens: you’ve fallen in love, she’s bearing your pups, and that yearning for canine instinct becomes exceptionally less intriguing. See, they say it isn’t synth-rock without a little Collins, and what’s a Prince without a princess?... Let’s hope it’s not too late to come back home to her.
