Incorporating drum machinery, twinkling guitars, and Powell’s favorite PolySix synth, it calmly invites you in and gradually builds till its hard hitting second chorus. The song reflects upon our helplessness against the unfathomable passage of time: “Such devastation as a life passes through/The obscuration of the makings of you.” Set aside a little time in your day to get carried by this track, you’ll be glad you did.
