Soultru releases lead single Backiotomy, Featuring Jim Swim

Soultru's latest single, Backiotomy, from Iowa-based crooner Terrance Banks is a catchy, genre-bending mix of hip-hop, soul, and folk. It's the first new single from his upcoming EP, The Legend Of Guitar Boy, and features its producer Jim Swim. The song is all about different nicknames for Banks as a kid and how we shouldn't carry other people's perspectives of us on our backs. When Banks sings, “They might grow and change, but I've always stayed true, My soul is all I've got,” you know he means it.
