Class of 2024
In 2024, The Record Machine has officially reached the legal drinking age in the United States. Remarkably, this means that the label has the potential to be older than some of its artists soon.
This year feels like the year The Record Machine went worldwide! Whether working with bands like Bluey Green or with Blvck Hippie and PROBLEMS touring outside of the US. It’s cool to see our footprint ever expanding.
We’ve also launched a new imprint called Les Bonbons Electriques with our friend Mark Ronning and made our debut releases with label owner Nathan Reusch under the name Bobcat Attack and chamber pop band The House. Look for more releases on the imprint in 2025.
On the event side we moved Lemonade Social to May and celebrated 4 years of the event. Thanks to Tito’s Handmade Vodka and Stockyard’s Brewing for sponsoring, We also helped with another Outer Reaches featuring Negativland and Pylon Reenactment Society and many great bands. We also helped our friends in NKC throw a fantastic NKC Fall Fest.
